New South Wales a reputation for its marine life and wildlife. Birds, in particular, hang around the coastline. Montague Island also has adorable fury seals that are sure to make your day. 

3. Wave to the Wombats 

Across Australia, there are wild wombats that roam the landscape.

The dingo is the largest carnivore mammal in Australia. These wild dogs are protected on Fraser Island but can be seen strolling the beach. 

7. Take a Dive in Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia

If you want to take a dive and swim with the fishes, then take a trip to Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia. Here you can find whale sharks that are a marvel to look at. From mid-March to July, you can scuba dive and swim right next to the massive marine creature.

If you're a fan of the sharp-teethed, scaly reptilians, then look no further than the Daintree Rainforest. You can see the saltwater crocodiles roam in their natural habitat. 

10. Take a Look at the Tasmanian Devils in Maria's Island
